  stem cell research and testings

  i am trying to find out how and where i can become involved in a stem cell research program.

  i have 8 different conditions that all hail from defective auto immune system and am getting sicker as time goes by.

  if anyone know where or how to get in touch i will follow through immediately.

  There are two centres in the UK at the forefront of stem cell research that I know of. They are at Newcastle Universtity and Edinburgh University. Since the South Korean research was involved in scandal the UK is at the forefront of stem cell research and I believe these two centres have licenses for all embryonic and umbilical research. Both centres have recently received multi-million pound grants to fund their research. It's just a problem that they aren't in the US and would mean the cost of travel and accomodation if your offer of clinical trial was taken up.

  dear all,.

  my daughter (let's call her abbadette) is visting me in the netherlands for the frist time this week.

  she's nearly 16 and lives with her mum who is largely inactive but still culticly influenced.. my darling abbadette has kind of figured out that it is a load of (passes keyboard to daughter) utter and complete shite.. (regains use of keyboard) where ever did she learn langauage like that?

  Like others have said seeing the truth about the 'Truth' can send your mind in a spin. It can be a tough journey but it is extremely liberating on a personal and intellectual level. It can be tempting to tell everything you have found out straight away to your family and friends but that can often make them overly defensive. Sometimes the softly, softly approach is best especially if your not ready to be DF'd. It's good you have your brother to discuss things with because I know for myself and other people on the board who are the only family members out of the org this board is one of the only outlets to talk about things.

  I would encourage your further research into the Old Testament and New Testament scriptures. There's some very interesting and eye-opening information to be found about the historicity and origins of Hebrew and later Christian beliefs.

  Yeah those are definitely phallic mazzeboth. I didn't see the phallic Asherah's or the chambers that held the temple prostitutes though that were an integral part of the temple. The whole design and layout copies from Phoenician, Canaanite and Babylonian temples of the same period.

  Dozy - I think you need to brush up on the rules of English grammar. Square brackets can be used to clarify the quote to the reader using previous information the author provided in the same publication. What you can't do is put words in the author's mouth which is interpolation.

  That is exactly what the WTS have done with that quote. They have interpolated their own data, which is not supported by the quoted author, into the quote thereby misleading the reader.

  I'm always reticent to enter discussions like this but I feel I have to point out that any serious historian would never point to any document from Thallus or Phlegon as proof of anything. At the time they purportedly wrote their accounts in the latter half of the 1st century and 2nd century there were hundreds of apocryphal christan writings with tall tales and contrary fables. I must stress that Thallus and Phlegon were not eyewitnesses to what they wrote and any info they got was hearsay.
